Wow has the summer passed by already?!
This past summer I had the pleasure of participating in the wonderful new music course New Music on the Point in Leicester, Vermont. I played the US premier of ‘Deviation Point’ by Igor C. Silva for performer, electric guitar (double bass), electronics, and video. I also collaborated with three young composers and played premiers of their chamber music works. Thanks so much Lucy McKnight, Isaac Roth Blumfield, and Josh Mastel for your great works! You can listen to them on my music page, or by clicking here.
In October 2017 I had the pleasure to share the stage with these talented musician!
I’m looking forward to new musical adventures with you all in 2018!
September feels like a long time ago, but I had a blast playing with Sinfonia Rotterdam in a sold out Grote Zaal at de Doelen in Rotterdam.
It’s a new season, and new concerts and exciting projects are coming up!
Check out my agenda to see where I’ll be playing this fall!
New musical experiments available for your listening pleasure on my research and music page.

I returned last week from a three week fellowship at the Bang on a Can summer festival. This festival is held every year at the inspiring MASS Moca Museum nestled in the Berkshire Mountains in Massachusetts. Along with 40 other musicians, we performed in, around, and on top of the art!
I am so lucky to have been able to participate and met so many talented and wonderful people. I am slowly getting recordings from the eighteen (!) performances I did in three weeks and will be sharing them on my video and music page. Right now, you can listen and see an arrangement of a Bjork song arranged by the trumpet player Allison Wright, and a composition by the Dutch composer Brechtje van Dijk. Both were my colleagues at the BOAC festival.

I am having an amazing time being a fellow at the Bang on a Can Summer Festival!
I just added a new recording from my final exam from June.
Check it out here.
(…and here a picture of Ton de Leeuw to set the mood.)
I had a great time with composer/ drummer Pim ten Have! Check out the piece he wrote for bass ensemble and soprano in the video section!
